The Society for the Preservation of Improbable Creatures welcomes all amateur cryptonaturalists, folkloric fanatics, and fans of misguided Victorian science.

We are a completely non-official (and entirely questionably-funded) organization dedicated to:

• Archiving Millicent Scattergood’s scandalous discoveries
  
• Translating her magically uncooperative field notes
  
• Preventing faerie-related accidents (especially those involving jam)
  
• Uncovering the truth of her disappearance in 1922
  

Occasionally arguing about whether gremlins count as fae (they don’t, Gary)
