So… you’ve seen something strange?
A whisper in the hedgerow. A dancing light above your tea. A suspiciously well-dressed toad.
Or perhaps you’ve simply read Millicent Scattergood’s Field Guide to Faeries and thought,
“Yes, this feels like a good use of my life.”
Either way: you belong here.
The Society for the Preservation of Improbable Creatures welcomes all amateur cryptonaturalists, folkloric fanatics, and fans of misguided Victorian science.
We are a completely non-official (and entirely questionably-funded) organization dedicated to:
- Archiving Millicent Scattergood’s scandalous discoveries
- Translating her magically uncooperative field notes
- Preventing faerie-related accidents (especially those involving jam)
- Uncovering the truth of her disappearance in 1922
Occasionally arguing about whether gremlins count as fae (they don’t, Gary)
Membership Includes:
- 📜 A Welcome Letter (Ok email) from the 3rd Assistant Archivist
- 🪶 Field Notes & Excerpts sent to your inbox via encrypted raven (or email, whichever is faster)
- 🔎 Early Access to newly recovered journal pages
- 🗝️ Clues about Millicent’s fate, scattered across future transmissions
- 🎩 Society Secrets (we’re not allowed to tell you what they are, obviously)
And absolutely no cursed artefacts. Probably. Maybe. Please don’t sue.
